Expert evidence or testimony based on possible matches or similarities between fingerprints on separate specimens to show the identity of the source of the fingerprints is sufficiently reliable to satisfy the requirements of Federal Rule of Evidence 702 or comparable State rules for the admissibility of expert evidence.
