FN6. Arizona adopted the Frye standard in 1962. Our supreme court has repeatedly declined to adopt the test as announced by the United States Supreme Court in Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Lncorporated, 509 U.S. 579 (1993); it has continued to apply Frye since the adoption of Ariz. R. Evid. 702 in 1977. Logerquist v.
